This week our topic is web design. Years ago, business owners simply had to have a simple website with just the basic information. In those days websites were few, web speed was very slow and anything larger than a tiny image took forever … that is if you got your Internet to connect at all.

Then came along programs like DreamWeaver, CoffeeCup, and suddenly HTML became a lot easier for the masses. Internet speeds quickly improved, and therefore images became more commonplace. Next came along several improved blogging programs which coders also gobbled up. Suddenly the world of websites was much easier and the number of websites exploded.

Nowadays, if your website is several years old and still has basic design, people notice. It is natural to think if your site is this far behind the times, then your business probably is as well.

But that’s not all. If your website is too loud… sound wise, color wise or graphic wise… your consumers go elsewhere. And if they can’t find their way around your site, they will find their way around to another website. Furthermore, choosing the appropriate content to use is critical.

Obviously you want your business to succeed. With all the resources available today, there is no reason you shouldn’t have a modern website. With little changes and some great web design details, you will find more success. That’s why this week we’ve brought together some great people who are ready to provide you with ideas and information to help your web design.

“As paid search begins to occupy a significant position in marketers’ budgets, both agencies and marketers must focus on intelligent keyword, bidding, and creative strategies to extract the most effective return on investment (ROI) from their campaigns.”

PPC, A Quick Way to Know Your Prospect

While PPC advertising costs money, it can help you save money in the long run by saving you months of time testing your campaigns. This will allow you know what keywords to gear your website toward using for Search Engine Optimization. After the initial expense you can settle into using other free methods to build traffic with your research.

Location, Location, Location

Another advantage of PPC is that you can use it to target specific geographic areas. By limiting your pay per click advertising to certain areas you may be able to keep your costs down while getting highly qualified visitors to your site. This can be done in your own geographic location or another.

If you are a local marketer, then this is exactly the information you need to help your clients bring in their specific customers. The pay per clicks will be more appealing when people know that the ad is for one of their local businesses. This can help your clients grow and of course help your reputation as their marketer.

Summer, Holiday and Other Special Occasions

Seasons are just that – seasonal. They last a short period of time and during which you must maximize your advertising. Your swimsuit business is probably not going to do that well during the cold months of December. PPC during June when the season is just starting can help push you in front of even more buyers. It also helps with running time related ads; such as those that run during a sale.

What are they thinking?

As discussed in the first paragraph, the biggest advantage is knowing what your customers and potential customers are thinking. Since you can not read their minds, PPC is the next best thing. After you discover what keywords bring in buyers you can better target and market your website.

With your new list of keywords you can write articles that use those specific keywords and distribute them to reference your website. You can fill up blogs with posts that are relevant to those words. This will make search engines happy, as you will have fresh content and make your prospects happy to have relevant information.

Relevant information can encourage reluctant buyers to stay longer on your website. The longer they are on your website the more likely they are to consider you as someone they should buy from. And all these benefits come from knowing what your prospect is searching for on search engines.

By Todd Chism

As an Internet business owner I find that I’m constantly looking for new ways to drive traffic, to give the customers something they want or need. Or at least what they think they need.

The customer will always ask the inevitable question: What’s in it for me? We don’t realize how early in our childhood development we get this behavior, but gradually it becomes ingrained.

Do you remember doing chores as kid?

You got money or an allowance or that special thinga-ma-bob. That’s what was in it for you; incentive to do what you didn’t want to do to get what you wanted. This can be applied to customers as well.

Let’s face it, customers really don’t want to part with their money to get your product. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, wants you to give it to them. Something happens psychologically inside their head when they shop, especially if it’s for a luxury or frivolous item. They want the object. Their palms get sweaty, their throat goes dry, their eyes glass over, and their wallets tighten. Remember Gollum? It’s their precious.

Now, I’m being overly dramatic here, but the actual point remains. For people to spend their hard earned cash they want to know what in it for them. They go to work all week, something that most really don’t want to do, to get a check that they do want. Then come the things they don’t want again. They have to pay utilities, groceries, rent or a mortgage, and whatever’s left is their “spendin’ money”. And, before they give up spendin’ their money, they ask the question.

WII.FM is more than just what its name implies.

WII.FM More than a Radio Station

It’s a give and take philosophy that drives the business / customer dynamic. Both sides must employ the technique to get what they want. Your business is not a utility company that a customer MUST have such as water or electric. Those things a customer NEEDS and MUST pay for them even though they don’t want to.

But, just because you’re a business owner doesn’t mean you don’t have the same issues that your customers have. You have to pay bills. Maybe even twice the number if you have an office building that you work out of: double the rent, double the electric, etcetera, etcetera.

The customers don’t look at it that way. They don’t see you as a hard working stiff like themselves. Oh, no. You’re a business owner, part of the corporate machine that is out to profit from the lowly worker.

Wait a minute! I’m a working stiff! Come on, cut me a break!

No, evil business owner! I shall banish you to the lowest pit of Tartarus unless you give me the deal of a lifetime!

Sorry, Dungeons and Dragons flashback.

Here’s the give / take dynamic.

YOU sell something the customer wants. YOU want the customer to buy your product. YOU want the customer’s money. Well, really the only thing in it for you is a sale, the possibility of other sales through this customer’s word of mouth, and possibly gaining a loyal customer.

The CUSTOMER wants your product. The CUSTOMER doesn’t want to pay for your product. The CUSTOMER wants you to bend over backwards to give them something that they already want. This usually means a huge discount, some kind of free item, or some other profit-killing endeavor. In a nutshell, you give to take, they give to take.

The customer mentality of WII.FM is both a blessing and a curse for the business owner.

If you can come up with something that your customer will accept as a “freebie”, that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg or bite deeply into your profit, then you could come out looking good. The problem is that thing you call a business is a profit deal.

Do you remember the movie “The Jerk” with Steve Martin? That movie has a great scene that directly applies to this situation. Steve is working at a carnival as a weight guesser. He thinks he’s not doing well so talks to his boss.

“I’ve already given away eight pencils, two hula dolls, and an ashtray, and I’ve only taken in fifteen dollars.” Steve says, bleakly.

The boss is smiling. “You have taken in fifteen dollars and given away fifty cents worth of crap, which gives us a net profit of fourteen dollars and fifty cents.”

You get the picture, but it’s not always this easy.

The quickest thing to jump on is free shipping. You buy my product and I’ll ship it to you free! While this is a good thing, all of your competitors are using the same gimmick. Darn. Okay, I’ll lower my prices. But now you have to deal with that stupid M.A.P.(minimum advertised price) agreement you have with your shipping source. Darn, darn, darn!

The playing field was leveled by forces beyond your control. The customer is still screaming what’s in it for me and you’re deciding whether or not you should order a headstone for your business.

So then you hit on the idea of offering a coupon. Yeah, that’ll work. But your competitors are also offering a coupon! Bah!

What then can my business give?

What can you give your customer that’s going to make them want to spend money with you? Remember that the customer sees it as 100% about them and nada for you. So whatever you do it’s got to blow them out of their socks.

Many of the tricks that websites use have been done to death. Free shipping, a coupon, a free e-book, and a monthly newsletter are just a few. Depending on your business, some of these things still work, but more and more you have to think outside the box.

So here’s one you can try. This will take a little bit of work on your part as you’ll also have to see what you can get from your supplier. Start a Twitter account for your business if you haven’t already done so. MONITOR that account. Most businesses will start an account and then forget the second they create it. Create, log out, and never come back. You have an internet business for Pete’s sake! Use the tools!

See what you can get from any of your suppliers at the deepest wholesale discount you can get.

Now, it doesn’t matter what you sell. Toys, furniture, stereos, cameras, they all will work with this idea. Once you have your Twitter account rolling and you’ve got a decent amount of followers advertise your “Word of the Week” contest. The first five or ten, or whatever number you choose that responds to your tweet get’s a free (insert your item here). The customers all of a sudden are getting the WIIFM. and you’re getting more customers.

Then it snowballs.

You’ll find that you get more Twitter followers as the word is spread that once a week you give stuff away. The upside is that these new followers may just be looking for the free stuff, however when you tweet about sales or new items, they know exactly what you’ve got and, should they need that item, will usually start their buying process with you. If you’re competitive, you’ll probably make the sale. This idea can also be applied to Facebook.

There are a lot challenges facing the web entrepreneur to build a successful online business. But to do so you’ve got to remember the customer also has a multitude, heck beyond a multitude of choices.

So giving them a little in a unique way can sometimes pay off in a big way.

But let’s not forget your side. What’s in it for you? Not from the customer, but from your vendors and suppliers. Now you’re the customer. Some vendors will cut you a special deal now and again and that’s good for you.

But here’s something you might try.

Let’s say you sell kitchen accessories. You sell kitchen accessories. There, I’ve said it. Make a trip to a local art show. Let’s say you meet a wood carver that makes intricately carved wooden serving bowls out of beautiful and exotic hardwoods. Find out if he’ll cut a deal with you to buy his products at a small profit. He becomes a supplier and you’ve eliminated a distributor.

Now you’ve got a beautiful and unique product that you can sell exclusively. This idea can cover a wide range of products. What’s in it for the wood carver? He sells more product than at the local art show and makes a buck. What’s in it for you? Good, inexpensive and unique product that ups your profitability.

I hope this has given you a few good ideas and a look inside the customer’s head. Now that you’ve read my post, I ask you: What’s in it for me? The hope that you’ll read my next one.

What if I told you there was a way to promote your online or brick-and-mortar business by spending mere pennies on upfront advertising and without paying for clicks or impressions, and with the guarantee that you’ll attract new customers free of risk? Sounds like a pipe dream, right?

Well it’s not – it’s called social commerce, and it’s just one small way you can leverage emerging media to grow your business indefinitely.

Take Groupon as an example. How valuable are they? Strong enough to reject a $6 billion deal from Google. Yes that is right, they turned down a $6 BILLION offer from Google. Do you think social commerce is on the rise?

By using Groupon and similar tools like Buy With Me and Living Social, you can create simple sales funnels to attract visitors to your site, entice them to find and purchase related products and services using incentivized specials, especially on impulse buyers. That’s the beauty of social commerce! You can offer promotions as an upsell for eCommerce merchants to increase their orders.

We also know that along with the rise of social marketing, mobile marketing is skyrocketing. By using mobile marketing tools, such as smart phone apps, you can even take your strategy (and your business) to the next level!

Has your business tapped into the social commerce and mobile market yet?

Please join us tomorrow at Noon as we welcome Lee Vance, our very own StomperNet Moderator. Lee will share with us some of her simple, yet proven strategies to harness the power of emerging business-building.

By Howie Jacobson, PhD

In Star Trek IV, the crew of the Enterprise time-travels to 1980s San Francisco. Scotty, the engineer, tries to access the state-of-the-art Macintosh computer by speaking into the mouse: “Computer? Computer?” When he fails to elicit a response from the machine, he puts down the mouse in disgust and resorts to typing on the keyboard.

Guess what? That’s what each of us experiences when we search, although we’re more used to it than the frustrated Mr. Scott. But we don’t think of our problems and desires in terms of keywords. We have to stuff all our thoughts and feelings into a small search box, because that’s what the search engines offer us.

For example, I’ve been searching for “treadmill desk” a lot lately, since a friend told me how much better he feels walking slowly as he works. If you could plug a microphone into my head, this is what you’d hear (after applying the standard male food/sex/sleep filter):

“I wonder if the TrekDesk will be too flimsy. It’s made of plastic, after all. Could I build one myself out of wood? Will it really help my back pain? Will it be hard to read the screen as I’m walking? And I know I can get a cheap treadmill on Craigslist, but maybe I want a top of the line model that’s really quiet. What about a manual treadmill? Will people be annoyed by the motor noise when I’m on the phone? Will they notice?”

Google doesn’t do well with long paragraphs like that. So I have to compress all these thoughts into a few words. I might try treadmill desk reviews or build treadmill desk or quiet treadmills for walking desk. Either my first search will lead to sites that answer all my questions, or I’ll return to the search box several times to get all these questions answered.

For search marketers, here’s the million dollar question: How can I prevent my prospect from searching again and again, and instead click my ad or listing and get everything they need from me? So that they’re deeply engaged with me, instead of jumping to my competitors, when they’re ready to buy.

In order to answer that question, I must understand the thoughts and feelings that got compressed into the keyword phrase. Like a zipped compression of a large file, those who understand how the process works in one direction can reverse engineer it and recover the original.

Unlike file decompression, keyword decompression relies not upon a fixed algorithm, but rather on curiosity, empathy and research.

The Six Keyword Decompression Questions

The goal of keyword decompression is to respond so accurately and completely to the searcher’s real motivations that you become the obvious choice the instant they see your listing on the SERP (search engine results page), and you parlay their attention into interest, desire and action on the landing page and beyond.
To accomplish this task, you must be able to answer the six Keyword Decompression questions:

If you can answer these questions about your best prospects, you will be able to sell to them. If not, then your marketing will be ignored, or worse, help your competitors by filling in the gaps leading to the sale. Let’s explore each question in some depth:

1. What pain/itch do they want to stop?

Every search is an attempt to change an existing situation. Even if it’s just to satisfy curiosity, or to shop for something amazing, it’s still an attempt to move the searcher from a state of dissatisfaction to one of satisfaction. Think of the search impulse as a rubber band being stretched. The search dynamic seeks to return the rubber band to its neutral position.

Your prospect may want to buy something, or learn something, or justify an emotion or opinion, or change a feeling state. To become the obvious choice, you have to know the desired end result of the search.

For example, a search for “treadmill desk back pain” suggests that I want to end up hearing stories about people who cured or reduced their back pain using a treadmill desk.

The ultimate outcome of my quest, as expressed in multiple searches over several hours, days or weeks, will probably involve the purchase or construction of a treadmill desk. But the specific outcome of this particular search is informational, and I’m rooting for a positive response. I do not want to read that treadmill desks are great for digestive problems but useless for back pain.

So a marketer who advertises back pain relief case studies will likely get my click.

2. Why are they searching right now?

In other words, what was the search trigger? Why did they search just now, instead of a year ago, a week ago, or 20 minutes ago? What happened inside their head, and what triggered it from their environment?

The search trigger is the context of the search, the story that the searcher is enmeshed in at that moment. If you can understand and reflect it back to them, you create a powerful bond of empathy and trust.

For example, my search for a treadmill desk was triggered by a friend’s recommendation. Knowing this, an ad could query, “Wondering if the treadmill desk is right for you too?”

3. What promise do they want you to make?

Once you’ve answered the first two questions, you must decide on the promise your prospect wants you to make. The ad that makes the best believable promise gets the click. The others get ignored.

Every ad is a promise in the following form: “If you click me, you will get…” Name the desired dot dot dot and watch your CTR (click through rate) skyrocket!

An ad that promised me unbiased reviews of the treadmill desk from back pain sufferers would get my click.

4. How can you immediately show that you can keep this promise?

Promises are cheap. Your prospect clicks your ad with hopeful skepticism, ready to hit the Back button at the first sign of irrelevance, confusion, or sleaziness. The top of your landing page must immediately address the promise of the ad directly.

The headline, the overall design, and the top graphics must immediately reinforce the promise, so that I am put at ease that I’m in the right place.

If the landing page contained generic information about treadmill desks, or if I had to scroll or hunt for info about back pain, I would feel duped by the ad and depart within a few seconds. The advertiser would have wasted the cost of my click.

On the other hand, a headline like, “Why the treadmill desk is the answer to your back pain,” would engage me and keep me reading.

5. Why won’t they buy your product or opt-in?

Every landing page must have an MDA, a Most Desired Action, that relates to your overall business goal. Sometimes the MDA is a direct purchase from an ecommerce site. Other times, it’s just to get a visitor to become a lead via a phone call or opt-in form.

Whatever your MDA, there’s always a bunch of reasons they don’t want to do it. They don’t trust you, they don’t believe they can install it properly, they’re confused about the features, they don’t value the benefits, they’re embarrassed about spending money on it, they’re tired of getting inundated by emails from people in your industry, etc.

If you want them to complete your MDA, you must overcome these objections. That’s the function of the content of the web site. Using descriptions, metaphors, demonstrations, case studies, testimonials, FAQs, and endorsements, you must help your prospect see that their objection is simply not relevant in this situation.

6. How can you eliminate their risk?

Once you’ve identified their key objections, you can’t just argue them away. After all, you’re biased, and they know it. In addition to explanation and demonstration, you must also reverse whatever risk they’re still feeling.

Human beings will do a lot more to prevent loss than to achieve gain. Every decision we make is monitored by a powerful subconscious brain program called DFTU (“Don’t F- this up.”). Its only job is to scan the environment and protect its owner from making decisions that could lead to danger of any kind. It’s a super “Avoid Pain” circuit that can keep people from achieving great gains if there’s any risk of a downside.

Unless we speak directly to the DFTU voice in our prospect’s brain, we won’t get the conversion.

Clear policies and powerful guarantees are the best ways to address the DFTU voice. And while the entire marketing and sales process should include this message, the most important place to reinforce it is right next to the action spot on the site: the Buy Now button, the “Send me the Free Report” form, the phone number.

Using the Six Questions

If you’re an old hat at keyword research, these six questions will provide focus and clarity to your efforts. You’ll not only know what to look for, but exactly how and where to respond for maximum effect.

If you’re just getting started with keyword research and aren’t sure how to find out the answers to these questions, I recommend checking out my live and recorded webinars on the Stomper Portal, or signing up for my Breakthrough Online Profits newsletter at askhowie.com. Or, if you want more articles about keyword decompression in Net Effect, let me know and I’ll happily provide them.

Happy Keyword Decompression!

Jumping in as the CEO of StomperNet just one month ago has been like jumping into the cockpit of a 747. Mid-air.

But that’s okay. I kind of like it. Actually I like it a lot. I like to work fast and I talk even faster. I love getting things done, like, yesterday. I especially love building and growing companies at lightning speed.

So that’s why – one month into my stint as StomperNet’s CEO – I’m happy to announce a little growth spurt in our Faculty ranks.

Try seven new faculty members (see their bios below).

Some of these names you will definitely recognize, some might be new to you, but all of them are incredible. We are thrilled to have them join us and we are excited about the enthusiasm they have already shown. (This particular airplane ride’s about to get a lot more fun.)

Talk soon,
Brad Fallon

If you have any questions or comments, I want to know! Leave a comment below!

Alan Bechtold – Alan’s been in publishing for over 30 years and been online since before the real “internet” existed with online bulletin boards. He’s a self-described ” A jack of all trades and a master of info-publishing and marketing.” His primary focus in StomperNet will be teaching creative writing for content, info product creation, and copywriting.

Melanie Benson Strick – Melanie’s a brilliant marketer specializing in business growth, team building, and breaking through the 6 figure area into 7, 8, and beyond. Melanie really knows her stuff. She’s known as The Million Dollar Lifestyle Business Coach because she knows first-hand how to build a successful, thriving, freedom-based company with her secret weapon — LEVERAGE. With over 12 years in corporate America and eight years as a business owner, Melanie works exclusively with entrepreneurs who are ready for a “sustainable” lifestyle business. Melanie’s clients, who are typically coaches, consultants, authors, speakers, trainers, service professionals and information marketers, average a 172% revenue increase while creating more time for living their dream lifestyle.

Vin Montello – Vin’s the brilliant copywriter behind some of the greatest successes on Clickbank. His copy is some of the best we’ve ever seen. And he’s excited to help Stompers make their copy some of the best their customer’s have ever seen.

David Wilkinson – Finally, we’d love to introduce a faculty member who can only be described as a “phenom.” He’s a 15-year-old super affiliate from the U.K. who makes five figures per month and he’s still in high school. (Think you might be able to learn something about affiliate marketing from him.)

Even cell phone pics show themassive attendence at this historic Live 8 Event!

Normally, we rarely allow outsiders a peek at the closed-door StomperNet Live events but this time we’re doing something a little different. We’re going to have some free VIDEO from the floor soon, but for now, here are some “leaked” updates from our member portal to show you what our members come back for time after time (which is why this is our EIGHTH LIVE Event in less than 3 years!) Check it out below and let us know what you think!

Live 8 – Busting At The Seams

There are a lot of folks here. I think we’re tipping the scales at 650 attendees. We’ve wedged as many people in this ballroom as you can – without use of a crow bar or an angry fire marshal.

And the energy is already cranked. Which is shocking, considering about 1/3rd of the attendees stood up when Brad asked how many had traveled here from outside the U.S. That’s eyeball-math but it looked like just about a third to me.

So it’s pretty impressive that considering all the jet lag in the room – there’s tons of laughter, smiles, chatter and excitement. I’ve not caught one person dozing yet.

James Schramko – Sneaky Down Under

First Keynote of the Weekend: James Schramko takes the stage.

Today, there’s not exactly thunder down under.

Oh sure, James Schramko *is* from Australia. He’s smart, he’s successful. But thunderous? Not really. Affiliate Pounce creator James Schramko hit the stage today in a low key, but high content way. With a dry wit and heavy Aussie accent, James wrapped his excellent lessons about affiliate marketing into a very entertaining presentation.

(Every so often, James stops his talk and says “Hey, who wants a sneaky tip?” The crowd hollers back “We do!” If their reply isn’t loud enough for James’ liking, he asks for more energy. Before you know it, it starts to feel like a rock concert call and response. I’m half expecting to hear “Freebird!” soon. It’s just great.)

James’ back story is pretty interesting. Aside from being a top Mercedes salesman and general manager, he tells us that he used work in collections (“…which is kind of like sales…only your customers already have the product.”)

We of course can’t give away every single information nugget and ‘sneaky tip’ James covered. But we can say that relationships are the name of his game. In fact, he believes so strongly in relationships that he keeps in touch with customers who ended up buying not from him, but his competitors.

Why?

Because he counts on his competitors to not follow up. And most of the time, they don’t. So next time those customers buy, or next time someone asks them for a referral, guess who they remember? Hint: it’s not James’ competitors.

Sneaky, right?

The Need for (Smart) Speed

StomperNet's co-founder takes the stage for the first time as the new sole owner of our organization - so what's on his agenda?

I’m going to briefly address the, um, four folks in this room who’ve never seen Brad Fallon speak before. Get you up to speed and all that. I can summarize it this way:

Brad’s fast.

He talks fast. He builds companies fast. He makes money, fast.

Brad’s favorite quote isn’t from a business or marketing guru, or any kind of guru at all. It’s from a race car driver named Mario Andretti. “If everything seems under control, you`re just not going fast enough.”

See? Speed is where Brad Fallon is at.

But this event, he has a new twist on his usual “Go, go, go…” He’s now moved on to teaching a way to control the speed. To go not only fast but to go smart. Keeping an eye on how you are “spending” that speed is just as crucial as going quickly.

What Brad’s talking about is Leverage and Productivity. And the wasteful evils of Multi-Tasking. He’s taking us through worksheets and charts based on Brad’s favorite project management system – the Theory of Constraints. It’s really opening a roomful of eyes.

This system works so well that when a government agency used it to build tanks, their productivity skyrocketed. So much so that not only were they suddenly able to output the product they needed to produce…they had extra capacity. They were so efficient and so streamlined that they were able to take on extra work from the private industry.

Wouldn’t you love to get that much done, with exact same amount of workers?

#&*@%@

Bad words never sounded so good as when they will help you find more customers for your business!

Ross Goldberg defines himself a lot of different ways. A war vet. An accidental Internet Marketer. Former Fighter.

Potty Mouth.

He’s all that and then some. Ross’s delivery style is real and honest and always amusing. But his content is solid and real-world and clearly appreciated by the crowd.

Today Ross is talking about managing your reputation online. He’s helping us manage our overwhelm. He’s actually posting a slide and making us read out loud what’s written on it:

“I promise not to use what I learned today for Evil Purposes.”

—–

Quite a day (and that’s not even ALL of the stuff we covered on Friday!) Even though these are all the updates for the moment, but you’re going to want to get ready, because we’ve got even more coming up soon! (With video!) And don’t forget to leave a comment below and let us know what you think!

The Evolution of an Internet Marketing Titan. Today, StomperNet announces that the management isn’t the only thing about to change.

StomperNet IS changing... but it's only becoming better for you, our customers and subscribers!

July 30, 2009 - Last week, Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon negotiated the future of their online school of IM education, StomperNet. When they emerged, Brad Fallon was the new CEO and Andy Jenkins was moving to California. Each is pleased with the turn of events. And each other.

“That’s about the size of it,” reports Jenkins. “It’s really that simple. People are speculating like crazy about what kind of behind-the-scenes dramatics went on, but it’s something far more boring: I was ready to pass the StomperNet baton in order to work on other stuff. Brad was ready to take it.”

“The only fireworks are those we see happening online with all the gossip and rumors.” chuckles Brad Fallon “Frankly, we were surprised by how much everyone cared! Happy…but surprised.”

But it’s no wonder this announcement has caused so much speculation. StomperNet, which opened its doors in October 2006, has been the talk of the IM space for years. They broke records when they first launched, selling over 2000 membership slots, at a price point of $10,000/year (Or $800/month.) Over the last three years, they’ve assembled a faculty of world-class subject matter experts on virtually every aspect of internet marketing. This faculty guides and educates their members (who refer to themselves a “Stompers.”)

Jenkins, Fallon and this esteemed StomperNet faculty have also compiled the largest, most comprehensive IM library of over 1400 videos, audios, and other online courses. They host a vibrant community of online entrepreneurs, who regularly share tips and advice in the famous StomperNet forums. Forums that are currently going almost 200,000 posts strong.

StomperNet Live events are also legendary, attracting top speakers from all over the world to address Stompers and help them grow their businesses. The popular “site review” section of the Live Events also makes StomperNet Live events extra unique. Attendees can submit their URL and enjoy a thorough one-on-one analysis of their site, conducted by a StomperNet faculty member. Attendees have called these personal reviews “priceless” and “the smartest thing I’ve ever done for my business.”

As if that wasn’t enough, last year StomperNet launched another new product. One that was – once more – unlike anything else seen in the IM market. Called “The Net Effect”, this printed monthly journal is sent to subscribers in more than 200 countries, and is more handbook than magazine. Its focus? Teaching readers tactics and strategies that will allow them to maximize their presence (and profitability) online. Each issue features instructive, execution-focused articles penned by the StomperNet faculty and other featured writers. At the end of each issue is a summarizing checklist that combines all the action items discussed throughout of the magazine. Readers report that they love to tear these checklists out and work on them each month.

“As big as StomperNet is right now…we’re about to get bigger.” explains Fallon, “I can’t go into the details yet, but suffice it to say that this Fall will see some incredible new offerings from StomperNet. Stuff people have been begging us to do for years now. We’re incredibly excited about the future of StomperNet and our mission of supporting internet entrepreneurism around the world.”
