This Week In StomperNet "Outsourcing–Getting To The Next Level" June 21, 2010

Hello Stompers!

Welcome to this week in StomperNet! One of the biggest strategical moves you will make with your business is setting up outsourcing systems. Our focus this week is "Outsourcing-Getting To The Next Level". (I'm going to define 'outsourcing' VERY loosely as having somebody else do your stuff .)  

When I was a StomperNet Coach, I saw over and over that getting over the hurdle of just starting seems to be a major stumbling block for lots of people.  Let's get you over that hurdle this week.  Outsourcing is important to your business!  It enables you to scale up.  Make the commitment to take your outsourcing game to the next level.  If you've never done it–START!  If you're already outsourcing, look at ways to systematize your processes. The beauty of outsourcing is that things happen–without you having to do them yourself!

A couple of thing to keep in mind when outsourcing:

1.  Think about the ROI-in terms of both dollars and your time.

2.  Set up your outsourcing as a SYSTEM.

Live Online Training:

• "Outsourcing Article Writing" with Don Crowther.  For his Faculty Office Hour this week, I asked Don Crowther to talk to you about his process for outsourcing article writing.  He taught this a couple of years ago in his SMARTS course, and it helped a lot of people.   He is going to teach it to you LIVE this week!  (Perfect for Beginner-Intermediate, but everyone will get helpful tips on this webinar.)
• Charter/Gold/VIP Members' Webinar — When I hired my Virtual Assistant, I went straight to Charter Member Ryan Gledhill.  Ryan talked with one of my Business Building Groups, and it went over so well that I asked him to come talk with all of the Charter/Gold/VIP Members for our meeting this Wed. at 4:00 pm EDT about his experiences and advice.  Ryan has been a Stomper since Day 1, and after some outsourcing frustrations, he went to the Philippines himself and started his own outsourcing office.  In this informal discussion, Ryan will tell you things to look for, as well as avoid, when hiring outsourcers (like only someone who has 'been there' can), and you can ask him your questions too.  Check your email for a link!  (Perfect for Advanced)
• "Storm Clearing" with Scott Zetlan & Ryan Taylor, Thurs, June 24th at 12:00 noon EDT.  We know some Stompers have had questions on how to use StomperStorm, particularly when it comes to setting up funnels and wildcards properly. We will explain how to set these up properly and also explain a new feature, which will automate much of the process for you.
