Swimming against the CPA current

CPA (Cost Per Action) is a hot topic in the internet marketing space right now, and it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with accounting.
(We got a TON of comments on the previous blog post we did with my Mike Filsaime interview about CPA marketing, just this past weekend.)

Really great post, apparently the affiliate market has grown 35% last year, CPA has a lot to do with this. Great way of marketing.

We went and looked at the videos and even after we're not certain how we'd implement this into our sales process? I can say that I think there's something there, just not certain what/how it fits into our service-based offerings…

I don't really care how good this product is or how much it has in it, it is way over priced. It's just like every other promotion out there today. How is the little guy who has no access to the capital for these kinds of things ever going to get anywhere. One of the best CPA programs I have seen to date wants $97.00 per month. Ya, its probably worth it but that kind of money shuts out those who really could use it to get started. Personally, I am fed up with all this over priced hype. If any of you guys that are selling this stuff really care about helping people get started, you would offer more affordable options.
