    Formula 5 looks to be a treasure box for anyone who has already a business! Learned a lot from the free videos. I already knew Paul Lemberg is a mastermind on business strategy, from reading his materials online years ago. Are you planning to release a «similar» product but for people planning to start a business? How to do strategic planning, create a USP, define price, etc? Perhaps a smaller version adapted from the Formula 5 +200 blocks? Please?!!! One could then upgrade later to the full Formula 5 once our business starts to show results!

    I watched all the videos with great enthusiasm and jumped straight into my database to do a mail out, but then it struck me – my database was a piece of ^&%$#. Or more to the point, the data content itself was just no good – I had customer names, addresses, emails etc in 3 different systems – including most of these on paper (I had received hundreds of orders by fax but had never entered in the details). So I couldn't do an email offer to dead customers – nor could I do a survey for the most recent.
    So for 16 hours per day for the past week I have been repairing my database – and I have to say that a few times I literally just broke down in tears. I've got customers who have been throwing money at me for years – yet most of these have never been followed up for 2 years – so, how much money have I missed out on.
    Over the last week I have entered in 2,000 names (and I'm nowhere near finished yet) – and during this process I have recorded what they have purchased, what type of customer they are – added a field that automatically triggers if they become a dead customer (and they automatically get sent a reactivation zombifier now) – an automatic sequence that sends out a thank you letter after so many days and then the 'I need Your Help' questionare a few weeks later.
    i can now send out offers based on their prior purchases – there was no way I could do that before.
    I'm a 1 man show working out of a spare room at home and at the end of October my business was in line to do $250,000 for the year (July to June in Australia), but Nov, Dec and Jan had become dead – and when I look over the figures for the first 4 months, I had very little repeat business.
    So while I dont have any financial results to show off yet (as I wont be doing the first mailout until Monday morning), i firmly believe that just these couple of videos have made one of the single biggest transformations ever for my business. it's got me excited about my business again and I look forward to sharing the outcome of the first email blast on Monday morning with you all – this is going to be very exciting.

        As a follow up to my previous post – after a few hours my 'Zombie Reactivation' has brought in $3,432 – which is more sales than I have done in the last 3-4 weeks (I did say my business had dried up over the last couple of months).
        Most importantly though, my wife is happy as she was starting to worry (quite a bit).
        Interesting to note that I have had only 2 complaints – and I actually was expecting these particular ones to do so, so nothing surprising there. But I have also received heaps of emails saying 'You haven't done anything wrong – your product is great, the only reason we havent contacted you is because it is so good that we havent needed to contact you. the problem is I made the base product so good they dont need the higher priced one (I need to do something about that now – I never actually realised that before). so not only have I brought in some cash, they have given me some clues as to how to tweak my product lines.

    I must say that this is the first video I have ever watched end to end of ALL of the "Marketing" videos I have seen. Very well done, informative and straight forward. You even showed greatness with the offer at the end. I am really looking forward to what's next… I doubt I will sleep tonight. (Friday 01/16/08)
