[Cheat Sheet] Tools to Make Your Tweets More Sweet

Put the Power of Twitter to work in YOUR business without the limitations of the default GUI. These tools will make your Tweets Sweet!
Twitter is a phenomenon. A lot of our StomperNet Elite have been early adopters, and at the last StomperNet LIVE Event, one of the favorite presentations was from Perry Belcher on how he got 60,000 followers on Twitter… that's like having a LIST.
Only better.
See, people are kind of "meh" about getting email. It's certainly not a novelty anymore. You have to really have good content on a regular basis to do well with email.
But man-o-man do people love checking out Tweets. It's new and hip, and it's got its own unique feel. It's like all the people following along can actually look over your shoulder and see what you're up to.
Now sure, not everyone really cares what you've got going on with up-to-the-minute updates. But SOME DO. Those people are what we like to call "Crazy Super Hot Prospects".
As marketers, it's AMAZING that we can use a tool like Twitter to keep in constant contact with our biggest fans and cheerleaders. But BOY, the folks at Twitter, don't make it easy on us.
And that's understandable. I mean, their tool isn't really FOR us business folk, really. It's meant to be simple and easy to use, and 99% of their user base doesn't need the kind of detail and data that we would like.
Fortunately, several tools are out now that make it easy for the business-minded Twitter-er to make the most out of this incredible influence engine and do what we came to do: Make More Money.
This isn't an affiliate promotion or anything. All of these are Free to use, and should run fine on most Windows PCs or Macs.
But before we get started…
IMPORTANT: Don't dismiss this. Whether or not you're the kind of person to hop on the "next big thing" you need to consider that Twitter is HOT, and it's hot right now – it's got an audience of millions that grows every day.
One of the foundational lessons of Internet Marketing is to go and find where your prospects hang out, right? So the fact is, if you're not using Twitter as part of your promotional mix, you aren't doing as well as you could be.
So let's fix it. Go get started with Twitter today and you won't ever look back.
Then, once you're set up, join us back here for a little "Tool Time".
For all you folks already reaping the benefits of Twitter-power, let's get started now.
Twitter Tool #1: TweetDeck.com
This is the one I currently use. I really like the multi-column interface. It's like you have a "dashboard" for all your Twitter stuff: friends, replies, direct messages, and groups. (Note, if you prefer single-column, it can do that too.)
Another feature I really like is the ability to filter tweets for my @AndyJenkins username into their own group, so I can proactively monitor whenever I'm being mentioned. That way, I can show up and save the day. Like Superman.
IMPORTANT: No guarantees that I will show up or save the day if you Tweet about me. But I AM watching. You should be too! This feature makes it too easy NOT to.
TweetDeck is a desktop app, also. It runs on Adobe Air, so it's cross platform on Vista, XP or Mac OSX. I like the fact that it's a desktop application because I have a multi-monitor setup, and I can put the whole TweetDeck interface over to my right in full expanded view, and still edit video on my main screen.
Now, I haven't really had any issues using TweetDeck, but Stompers have reported some issues, so I'll defer to StomperNet Faculty Sherman Hu.
Sherman wrote a "Good, Better, Best" review of several Twitter tools for Volume 1, Issue 7 of "The Net Effect". One of his own TweetDeck pet peeves is that it seems to be a resource hog on his computer.
Admittedly, my own computer is a hoss, and I haven't noticed.
Sherman also tells me that TweetDeck will max out your API limits more frequently than other tools that are available.
(That's what it means when your Twitter Status says "Rate Limit Exceeded".)
Sherman also pointed out to me that TweetDeck gives you the most URL shortening options (you can choose from 13 services). Also, when you Tweet a link to an image, TweetDeck will automatically upload it to TwitPic, too.
Those aren't features I personally use too much, but worth mentioning.
Now since I've only ever used Twitter.com and TweetDeck, I'm not informed enough to give much insight into the other options available to you.
Lucky for you, I'm going to "steal" generously from the rest of Sherman's review and let you know about some other tools you can try besides TweetDeck.
Most of the opinions expressed below are based on Sherman's extensive experience, testing and expertise. I trust his recommendations, so I think you can, too.
Twitter Tool #2: Twhirl
Twhirl is another desktop application, again built with Adobe Air. It's got a lot of similarities to TweetDeck.
You can also do "ego searching" and filter out Tweets that mention your username, and Twhirl will search through Twitter itself and TweetScan for you.
You also have a choice with Twhirl when it comes to URL shorteners, but it's a lot fewer than TweetDeck. Twhirl only offers 4 options, though I've only ever really needed one.
Now there's one thing that Twhirl does that is unique. When you have it open, you can activate another window and open another Twitter account and manage both at once.
That's really handy if you Tweet frequently from multiple accounts. Some business owners I know have at least one personal and one business account, and that feature is obviously very appealing.
Even though we're talking primarily about Twitter, I should also mention that Twhirl can also log into and manage iaconi.ca, FriendFeed and Seesmic at the same time. And it can do multiples of those accounts, just like Twitter.
If you're using any of those sites for social activities, Twhirl might be your way to go.
Twitter Tool #3: PeopleBrowsr
Unlike the previous two options, PeopleBrowsr is not desktop based, but rather you log in through their website. This has the advantage of being accessible from any web-connected computer, and you don't need to download or install anything.
The downside is, you're kind of at their whim as far as using their tool or not. Plus, they're only in Alpha release, meaning they are still in early development of the site and software.
But with the pretty staggering amount of features and benefits the service has, I think they'll be around long enough to make it to a major public release. Whether or not they will charge to use the service later, I can't say.
If I had to guess though, it looks like they might. Heck, I would.
NOTE: They appear to also have a downloadable Adobe Air version of PeopleBrowsr, but I haven't used that option, so I can't really comment on it. If it works at all like the web version, you'll be impressed.
The "Lite" version is web-based and has a multi-column look similar to TweetDeck. You have several view options though. You can create and save complex custom Tweet searches too, and Reply, DM, and Retweet all in one click.
Pretty simple.
But that doesn't even BEGIN to scratch the surface of the options that are available with this tool. Sherman's much longer review didn't do it justice, much less my little recap here.
Here are some of Sherman's favorite "Advanced" Features:
Multi-Stack Views: if you want to go crazy with the multi-column view, PeopleBrowsr supports opening more than 10 at once. Sherman calls this the "landscape" view and can really give you an amazing view of your social efforts all on one screen.
Reports: This one is a social marketer's dream. 18 different reports are available so far, just in Alpha. Stuff like "People Retweeting Me", "Recent Followers", and "Top Twitterers" are all at your fingertips.
Search & Export: Another one I'm excited to check out myself. You can do complex searches by bio, location, and more. Best of all, you can export those search results via RSS, HTML, or even a Retweet.
And one more feature I think marketers will appreciate:
Tweet Later: Save drafts of your tweets and even schedule them for later. If you're conducting a launch, are going out of town, or even if you want to "set it and forget it", this feature will be an incredible benefit.
I should note that this is what Sherman currently uses the most, though he's used all of the options mentioned here from time to time.
A helpful hint: If you want to check out PeopleBrowsr before setting up an account, you can play with the interface a little bit if you press "Skip Login" on their homepage.
That's it for this "Cheat Sheet" – I hope that not only will you start taking advantage of Twitter in your business, but that these tool recommendations help you find the right combination of features that will help you make more money, AND give you more time to enjoy it!
Until Next Time,
Keep Stomping!

Twitter can be very time consuming however and you need to be careful not to waste time with worthless tweeting and searching around.
This was really a help guys. There are so many different, and different kinds of plug ins that I get overwhelmed.
TweetDeck provides a column for your Direct Messages and the newest upgrade keeps track of both the DMs you send and the DMs you receive. This little feature is perfect for staying on track in an ongoing private conversation you’re having with an individual Twit, uh, follower.
I've been using tweeter for long time and I agree that those programs are helping a bit in using it, they allows using several accounts at the same time.
Great post!
Thank you for the tips in this post that there released very good indeed.
Great post!
Good info, can always count on you guys to get the real opportunities.
Thanks, great article. I just started using twitter so this info will be really helpful once I get a chance to work on my twitter page.
Twitter has certainly become the flavor of the month with everyone wanting to taste it.Twitter can be very time consuming however and you need to be careful not to waste time with worthless tweeting and searching around.
Great tips and tricks of twitter ! Thanks
One more strong competitor to Tweetdeck that has recently come on the scene and that I'm now using instead is Seesmic Desktop. It's also an Adobe Air application, it also lets you monitor lots of keywords/phrases, use multiple Twitter accounts simultaneously, and it's also free
Excellent information helped me a lot,
Thanks,

The featured Twitter tools here are great. As twitter becomes a great marketing tool… this site will be there for more years.
Some great tools to speed up and enhance the twittering process. Tweet later is a great idea to update your posts while away for a few days.
I don't see how you can manage without an application like TweetDeck! It's the tool that finally allowed me to figure out what to do with Twitter.
I will try do this tips and see if it really works. Besides, i love the idea!
Hello,
Thanks to Stomper Team for posts, works and more
I'm french so I would like to make a correction with your title.
"Now" It's not "Tout-suite" in french but "Tout de suite"
Thanks again for this post
“You can also do "ego searching" and filter out Tweets that mention your username, and Twhirl will search through Twitter itself and TweetScan for you.”
This will definitely be good base material for gathering statistics on your product’s popularity. Glad to see there are applications supporting the business potentials of twitter.
“Twitter is a phenomenon.”
Who would have thought a phenomenon could rise from mere updating of statuses? Who would have thought years ago someone would say “I need to tweet this!”
“One of the foundational lessons of Internet Marketing is to go and find where your prospects hang out, right? “
News media institutions were one of the first to see how twitter could be both their downfall or new medium. Now CNN, Time, Etc. have so many followers!

I think if it's free there's no problem with that. I can try it without having to worry that it's another online marketing ads on hype you're writing. Thanks for the info. I still have to find out for myself is these tools are really effective.
Thanks for the great tools. Twitter is absolutely great. I use it to inform people about any new article. This is great stuff and I use it.
Regards,
Thanks for the post. Ive heard so much about twitter but not really taken much of it on board. Ive also hear of the amount of power it has for marketing but still can't quite get my nearly exploding head around all this info. I wish I had external harddrive to plug into my brain
Twitter surely captures the users heart today. it is awesome because it has different features for the users. great tools they have now. really this will make users enjoy twitter more..
Hai,
Thanks for the great tools. To add to twitter aresenal I love to share this Profitable Twitter Tools List here http://www.budurl.com/twtol
Thanks to stompernet and team.

A great list of twitter management tools. really makes it a lot easier and more enjoyable
Thanks Andy
An alternative for Mac and PC users to TweetDeck is Seesmic from Seesmic.com. Seesmic is excellent for controlling multiple twitter accounts eg on behalf of clients, has multi-column views.
Also I use TweetSpinner – there is a free version – I use the paid (US$15 pm) version – excellent for following and unfollowing – helps automate the Twitter process.
Thanks Andy!
We've been using TwitterFeed with one of our companies and recently got into the TweetLater and bit.ly features.
I tried TweetDeck after seeing a few people use it, but didn't really get into it personally. I'll check out the others that Sherman suggests and see how I like them.
Thanks for the insights
Great post. Question-do any of those tools tell you who is still following you, etc. I seemed to have a sudden drop in followers. Thanks!
As usual excellent content from Andy and the crew.
I love tweetdeck but have been experimenting with Twhirl which is also excellent.
Thanks again guys for the great info.
One of the best natural ways of building followers I've found has been to follow people in a particular niche who have a big following and retweet their really good stuff. They will often thank you or follow you, either way there followers get a glimpse of you. If you do it right you get a lot of followers fast.
All the best,
Richard
Great tools Andy!
Although I use a different one. I use iGoogle and found http://www.twittergadget.com/.
I like having this up with my rss widget, local weather and Google trends.
Cheers!

Thanks Andy for your Twitter Tips. I love Tweetlater and TweetDeck. I also like http://Twello.com. It is the yellowpages of twitter. Register yourself and you can look for other tweeple with similar interests and other people can look for you. Also, http://Mytweetspace.com has free backgrounds you can make for your twitter accounts.
Thanks for this great article. We use HootSuite which allows you to manage multiple Tweeter profiles as well. However after reading this I may have to try TweetDeck. Thanks for the tips!
Great tips as always! Like anything if used properly it can be a huge advantage to your business.
Cheers and Pura Vida!
Great post thanks. We use tweetdeck and tweetlater and as you say I have found them to be great for time saving. Tweetdeck gives you a live view of all the keywords you are following which is fantastic but even this can use a lot of time particularly if you are watching very competitive keywords. There are a lot of tweets containing 'SEO' for example!
Tweetlater can be set up to store up every tweet containing predetermined keywords and phrases and will send you an email everyday with a list which might suit some people better than trying to follow it live.
For further automation you could try TWOLLO which will auto follow your target audience for you.
What was presented here was ok, but missed many of the great tools and a major way to improve your efficiency with Twitter.
First: more tools are on my blog: Twitter For Business – Top 37 Steps You Should Take Immediately http://bit.ly/usCc9
Second: most people approach Twitter all wrong: how can you build a relationship with people (however brief – let's face it, Facebook is better for building a relationship) if you have all kinds of people with all kinds of interests commingled in your account. The best way to be sure your tweets are "on target" is to have multiple accounts, all based around keywords.
For instance, I have http://twitter.com/UltimateWAHDads for business marketing, aimed primarily at Dads who have lost their jobs during the 2008 – 2009 Economic Meltdown; I have http://twitter.com/photocharlie for those interested in photography, etc. I have 11 accounts. NOW when I send tweets to each account, I know how to target the message and don't send music info to my photography account or TV chat to my political account. See what I mean?
And by doing this, you don't need to divide your accounts by keywords in Tweetdeck, you already know who is interested in what because you divided by keywords BEFORE tweeting.
Hope this helps focus how you work in Twitter…. there's so much more.

My blog: http://bit.ly/24eYTO
Great post with solid twitter info. One thing that I do is search for my keywords in Twitter and follow people who look like they care about my end market. I get a lot of reciprocal follows because of this (and my username is interesting to them also).
wow, thats really great content. thanks Stomper guys!
I've been using tweetlater and pleased with it. I'll try the other available tools. What is TwitterFox used for and what are the benefits?
We have a tool that uses the advanced search in Twitter, you can build followings quickly. But wanted to say about the advanced search – get familiar with the operators you can use …
example.
dog training -filter:links
Would search for Tweets that included dog and or training but don't include URL's
"dog training" – filter:links would do the exact phrase search (but again tweets without links) … useful if you want to find people who posted about the subject without a link to an ebook …
Those are some great tips on getting the most out of the Twitter tools that are available.
I liked Sherman's favorite advanced features of PeopleBrowsr, especially the Reports and Search and Export features.
I like twitter remote. Thwirl and Tweetdeck have problems with some XP systems. I don't know what causes the conflict. Most likely because they are based on the AdobeAir Platform. Also thwirl and Tweetdeck have a tendency to hang up if you don't restart your machine every few days.
I just added TwitterFox so I wouldn't have to be on Twitter 24/7. Tweetdeck quickly used up all my API limits but the search function is invaluable. Wow. Fast, fast way to find people who are interested in what you are or in what you're looking to eventually sell.
Love this information. Fantastic. Keep it coming
I've used tweet deck for a while now and love it, not heard of PeopleBrowsr though but I'll definitely be checking it out.
Cheers guys

I am still looking for a tool that will allow you to do the following
1. Select a popular tweeter in your niche, say @andyjenkins
2. Find the people who retweet him the most
3. Find the people who engage him in conversation the most
This would allow you to target
1. Proactive twitter users in your niche
2. Borrow/steal true fans
One of my favourite strategies is to follow and engage with people tweeting about conferences within your niche – they are people Gary Halbert would call "Players With Money", though it works best with tech, social media and more recently marketing.
If you are watching a live broadcast via Ustream of a conference, it can be great to provide "Live Tweeting" so others following the conference can find you.
I've been using Twitter for a while. Personally I don't see the attraction but since everyone else is hooked, it is a great free contact tool.
You forgot one:
Twitter Powerline
Thanks for the tips. I'm kind of a pack rat when it comes to twitter tools. I have a list of over 100 I will be giving away to new followers starting next week. Well I'll DM it to all followers. I have wrote a couple books to give away too.
I was one of the first tweepers that where called stupid because twitter was crashing every hour. It was said the site would fail. To those in doubt. "told you so".
I do very good with twitter. A couple hints don't send offers in your 1st auto DM. With all the new tools users can see exactly what it is. I have one that see's through all the link shorteners. Another is to stay relevant. Yup just like your own websites. & don't delete to many followers at once. You Will see the owl saying account suspended. Twitter calls it CHURN. DO Not use a tool that mass un-follows. I had my oldest account suspended a few week back and it took a month of kissing ass to get it back on. The reason CHURN. Also once your account is suspended it will NEVER be in the search again.
Give lots of stuff away! Thats the only trick.
Man I could have wrote a book with that. LOL
Solid information and very worth using the software suggested because they work.
Andy, thanks for the tweeter tips … TweetDeck.com looks great so far, especially the fact that I can tweet a link to an images and it gets uploaded to TweetPic.
Because my wife and myself own a Royalty Free Pictures online business. http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/9a095aee8c89b0f76767df2e1c5a51e8?s=80

This app wasn't mentioned—Seesmic Desktop, but it's a real contender…just wanted to mention it. It's an AIR app, so works with PCs and Macs, much easier on the eyes than TweetDeck (has a light background, dark type), multiple columns, RTs, DMs, Add/Delete, Categories, add searches, shorten URLs via bit.ly and is.gd…these are just a few of the goodies.
In order to do things as simple as possible I just use twitter directly – I have it open in a small separate window on my computer. I have medium success with twitter – I think there is a lot of "noise" on twitter.
Thanks for sharing the tips.

Excellent tools there! I've enjoyed one other tool that is noteworthy:
HOOTSuite (a web based, multi-account management tool).
Appreciate the helpful tips!

Thanks for letting me know about the FACEBOOK username deadline! I captured my username right away at midnight and I'm so happy about it. Let's just say there were a LOT of Karen Kan's on FaceBook and most of them looked like they were models for hire (which I'm not!) ha!
Thanks again. You guys totally Rock!
Dr. Karen
I've spent many years pulling my internet knowledge together and twitter has excellerated it greatly. I'm all about tools that will help in that effort.
I find just being honest, using our 5 senses within our tweets and keywords, of course living on Maui in Hawaii really helps in the keyword dept.
Being active in non-profits and dealing with food energy, farming, water, community and sustainability help to keep the focus where most people's interest lays.
Making money is about providing a service. Work on the service that is worthwhile to others and the money will follow. If not money than the means for a happy life, which is all money is just one tool in our tool box of life that we are already given and is available at any moment. We choose to use them at anytime.
Aloha from Maui,
Twitter is the way to go. You got to use it!
It's not about how many "followers" you have BUT "How many followers that are response to your Twittt.."
Thanks for your fast reply and help Syed.

Hey Andy,
Great post but I have a question. Today I got alot of invitations from tweeple about games. Should I accept them also? Games are not my market.
I will try PeopleBrowser, good tip!
Thanks,
Agnes
I just saw a video of Google wave – a new wondrous web toy for all to stay in touch instantly across many platforms. Indeed this may prove to be the one thing that many people have been looking for, since the number of sucial media sites have exploded. It's almost impossible to stay on top of all the communications, but Wave will supposedly help change that. Even the twitter bit .-)
Andy, great tips…I use TweetDeck (which I have a love/hate relationship with) and TweetLater which I adore.
For efficiency, I'll preprogram about a weeks worth of tweets then add in fun stuff & random RTs as I go.
When I was in Australia for 2 weeks with Brad & the gang at UMS presenting, I do 2 weeks in advance. TweetLater rocks for staying connected.
Ciao, Melanie
People keep going on about twitter. I still don't get it. So time consuming. And who is bothered about my tweets. Sure I could make friends dishonestly with a view to selling them some lingerie later on, if they happened to want it, but really lets get on with selling stuff. Build up 1000+ friends I have to communicate with regularly and check there websites out too? Come off it. Got to sell lingerie, there isn't even enough time to finish this ema…
Great tips guys! I've been on twitter for 2months now and just go over the 2000 followers mark, if you use the right tools, you can do it on auto pilot, be carful what you tweet though, to much spam wil loose your followers too. look me up
on twitter @geoffbeattie
Hey guys thanks a ton. I just started getting really serious about Twitter, and this article helped explain a lot for me. So many tools, so little time, but I trust yours and Sherman's opinions.
Thanks again,
Troy
Great stuff. I'm loving twitter and look forward to trying out PeopleBrowsr. I'm a tweetdeck fan myself. It completely changed my twitter experience at twitter/yancyjones. I agree with Tim Ackley though that you should develop good relationships and don't twitter-spam! One additional tip, if you decide to use one of the autoresponders to thank people for following you, DON'T promote your product there. They only just met you and that's the fastest way to lose someone's trust. Take your time and get all the cows said the Englishman!!! One more thing (can't help myself), if you treat people right on twitter, they can really help you find answers and help very quickly. I've had a lot of success here and it's been worth serious ££'s.
every day an usefull tipp. Andy, Brad und Jeff etc. are awesome
thanks for these helpful tips, i personaly just started using twitter and every bit of info helps
I was already using the first two but I just took a look at PeopleBrowsr and its great.
Thanks once again for the great info you guys provide.
Andrew
Its like the whole concept of "twitter" just flew straight over my head !!!
What is it for ??
Why do people use it??
I know everyone is talking about it.
Twitter has worked well for me too. In fact I won my two tickets to the Stomper Live event on the affiliate contest as a result of opt ins using only Twitter and not mailing a list.
I love tweetdeck, till today it had serve me well, and now I'm going to try out some of the other tools and see if I can get around playing it… I love twitter !
Thanks for the info–I will decipher it while I am trying to understand other things about Twitter. I already have a Twitter account, but not sure yet how to use it. May use it about various forms of alternate engery?
christine
I hope that folks who are marketers will remember tips that Don Crowther has shared about building relationships when using Social Media. Twitter is no different. If we go on Twitter and constantly push product or service messages, people will tune out. Remember to use the 3 part system. A third of your posts should be retweets or other folks great info (this shows that you are reciprical – a good member of community); a third should be about you – to build relative knowledge about who you are as a person (I'm not talking mundane things here … but helpful glimpses into WHO you are as a person which helps to build trust); and then a third about your product/service/blog/etc (so people can see how to engage with you).
Yes, it is more work. However, it is more balanced and you'll ultimately KEEP the followers that you attract. And isn't that what we all want?
Twitter is absolutely great. I use it to inform people about any new articles that we publish on Ezineartices.com. This is great stuff and we use it.
Twitter Rules!
Knowing from experience – growing my Twitter following to 30k without spamming and with quality in 60 days using little known underground tactics, Twitter has been amazingly powerful and money producing for me.
In fact, I shifted my entire marketing channel focus to it. That's how profitable Twitter is if you know how to use it!
Rock on!

Hey
Good info, can always count on you guys to get the real opportunities.
Thanks
Randy
Overwhelmed, but grateful for the knowledge.
I think the use of twitter definately relates to your own business niche. In my opinion there are thousands of people wasting hundreds of man hrs reading and posting garbage and self promotion that just doesn't not make it viable for profits for many businesses. I'm glad personally, the more everyone wastes time with facebook and twitter type stuff the more business we actually seem to do by the other other metrics like search.
Another cool tool is http://destroytwitter.com – a desktop app for macs or pcs, again built on adobe air.
It's kinda neat.
Cheers

I also agree…
Great information as always…

Great article.
I have been using TweetLater and Tweetdeck
for a while now and totally pleased.
It is far more efficient and time saving and productive
to use those tools rather than trying to manage this whole damn thing
by yourself.
Technology Rocks!
Thx Stomper Guys!
Great article. I use Tweetdeck and Tweetlater, and find them exceptionally valuable tools in my Twitter experience.
The one thing I would add about leveraging your account at Tweetlater is to use their keywords function. The best way to find targeted followers is to find them using keywords, and start following them yourself. Tweetlater will send you a daily digest of all the tweets they have scanned that use your keywords. You can do a quick glance at them and see if there are people you'd would like in your circle. Make a practice of finding a few every couple of days, and then send them an @ message, Tweet about their website, or engage with them in some way. This way, you can build a targeted list of people who are likely to want to follow you, and who might later want to check you out (or even RT your Tweets) if/when you have a special offer or new campaign going.
But most of all, remember to show up as a real person and HAVE FUN with Twitter. If you treat it as a chore or make 100% business oriented, it will show in your Tweets and people will not remain interested in what you have to say.
Happy Tweeting,

http://twitter.com/Yokosukabase 3 days running and I have almost 650 people following me. My website has seen a 400% turn in traffic within the past couple days. My site launches July 01, 2009, so its great to have this early traffic before launch.. Gets my audience anticipating the launch date… Thanks for the help info Andy.. By the way, I am with you on TWEETDECK.. I found it yesterday and it saves a lot of time. One thing to mention when people start… TURN OFF THE NOTICES FOR YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT. I received over 600 emails flooding in, so it will help if you just turn them off prior to getting flooded.. Good luck! Adam
Twitter has certainly become the flavor of the month with everyone wanting to taste it.Twitter can be very time consuming however and you need to be careful not to waste time with worthless tweeting and searching around. These applicationa would probably be a big help in that regard so I am going to give them a whirl. Thanks for the info.JM.
Hey, guys…
absolutely agree with you!
Twitter is smoking hot right now, especially with
all of the free tools…..just make sure to build
good relationships and do not twitter-spam!
Tim
This was really a help guys. There are so many different, and different kinds of plug ins that I get overwhelmed. These few recommendations will go a long way to helping me boost my Twitter coverage. Thanks too for the tip on how to demo a product, I wish there were more like that. thanks again tim
Good Gawd! My poor lil (huge) head is about to freakin' EXPLODE with all the Twittering, tweeting, twhirling and suchlike going on. Call me pathetic, but I never really got my Facebook on, and now I've gotta "get with the game" and start chirping. (:-o]
Seriously, thanks for the heads up, Andy. I wasn't aware of these services and I will look into them PRONTO. (:-p] I'll be following you for more great info. Keep up the good work! Tim is right, everybody — whatever you do, don't Twitter spam.
Now if I could just think of something worth saying that ISN'T somehow promoting myself. I mean, does anybody really care if I scratch my nose for the third time today? I don't, and I'm the one with the nose. (;-)]
